drake, 36, has an incredible piece of jewelry that honors all the women from his past – 42 of them to be exact. That lover boy The singer had a custom diamond necklace made with 42 engagement rings, which he had never proposed to his previous partners. The Necklace, called “Previous Engagements”, was unveiled by the jewelry designer Alex Moss in a December 12 Instagram post, seen below.
Alex’s video revealed the necklace was made over a 14-month period with 351.38 carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold. “On the verge of the impossible, a 14-month expedition. Each diamond has been hand selected and inspected to match only perfection,” said a voiceover in the video. “Each stone carefully set with the eagle claw technique.”
In the caption, Alex explained that the Previous Engagements necklace was “for all the times he thought about it but never did it,” alluding to how Drake had never proposed to the 42 women from his past. Corresponding US Weekly, Drake wore the necklace while performing Little baby‘s concert in Atlanta on December 9th.
Some of the women Drake has been romantically linked to in the past are among others Jennifer Lopez, Teyana Taylor, Taraji P. Hensondancer Malia Michel, Serena Williams, Rita Ora, Cyn Santana, Tatyana Ali, Black Chyna, Bernice Burgos, amber rose, Zoe Kravitzand Bella Hadid – just to name a few. He dated memorable rihanna on-and-off from 2009 to 2016. There were even rumors that Drake was dating him Kim Kardashian. He was also linked to Kim’s sister KylieJenner in 2019, although neither acknowledged the rumored relationship.
