In the video, Ellen sat down with tWitch and thanked him for always making her “smile and laugh.” Ellen shared a montage of his greatest moments on tWitch The Ellen DeGeneres Show. It showed the beginning of the couple’s friendship when Ellen recruited the So you think you can dance Stern to help her dance. “Getting to know each other was like a crash course. And he was so patient with me,” Ellen said in an interview for the montage. “That was my initial love for him. We just teamed up because we learned to dance together.”

The montage video also showed when tWitch officially DJed Ellen’s show in 2014. Ellen said one of her fondest memories with tWitch was when she wanked him on the show.

“Whenever he’s not here for whatever reason, it’s just different,” Ellen explained in the montage. “I’m counting on him to look over and crack silly jokes. He’s my buddy. He’s my buddy. We have that connection. He makes me laugh. He really makes me laugh. i love you twitch We tell ourselves that every day. He says I love you very much and I say I love you. He will never disappear from my life. He’s always a part of my life.”

After showing the montage to tWitch, Ellen presented him with a framed photo of the couple hugging. Twitch was in tears as he and Ellen shared how much they love each other. Twitch told Ellen that her show “always made me feel at home,” and thanked her for all the “unforgettable times.”
