Matt Damon let it all out during his speech at the 45th Kennedy Center Honors. In a hilarious, terrifying story where a prank went wrong, the goodwill hunt Star, 52, hilariously claimed to be his best friend and award winner George Clooney, 61, once pooped in a litter box. “It has been said that my friend George Clooney is the last of the true movie stars,” Matt said in one Video clip received from E! news. “So I had to think about what exactly that meant. Of course, some previous Kennedy Center honorees were certainly movie stars in that classic sense. Actors with class and sophistication—Cary Grant, Henry Fonda, Paul Neuman, Gregory Peck.”
Matt went on to reveal a previously unearthed detail about the honorees Oh brother where are you? Actor. “And then I think of George. A man who defected Richard Art‘s litter box as a joke.” The audience erupted in shocked and outraged laughter. Apparently, however, the twins’ father’s pranking talent is not limited to off-color. “A man who once stole bill clinton‘s stationery and wrote fake notes to actors,” Matt continued, “saying how much the President loved their films.”
The show originally took place on December 4th, with stars among them Julia Roberts (rocking a George Clooney dress) and President yeah and Jill Biden present to celebrate, among other things, the career successes of their father. The show will air in full on CBS on December 28th. Other award winners this year are Amy Grant, Tania Leon, U2, and Gladys Knight.
As for that Ocean’s Twelve Buddies, they seem to have no shortage of topics to tease each other about. But Matt also found room for kind words for George in his remarks. “George, I know a lot of people think you look like a movie star, but let’s face it, it takes a whole village to style the star. PERSONS Magazine ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ – I was there, these experts can change anyone,” he said per Yahoo News.
“I’ve worked with George on some of his biggest hits and some of his biggest bombs,” Matt continued. “We got rave reviews together, we got butchered by the critics together. And I loved every minute of it.”Click here to subscribe to our free daily HollywoodLife newsletter to get the hottest celebrity news.
