Vanessa Hudgens seems to dress up every day. The actress (and established Halloween fanatic) recently transformed with bleached eyebrows and a platinum blonde wig that’s a stark departure from her signature black hair. “Who is she anyway?” Hudgens commented on the selfie, which was shared on December 13. Although not explicitly stated, the look was likely for an undisclosed role or photoshoot.
Within a few hours, the post had garnered almost 100,000 likes. Many commentators pointed out Hudgen’s sudden resemblance to Lady Gaga, especially when the pop star played the Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel. Hudgens is among the many celebrities who have boldly embraced the bleached brow trend this year, including Julia Fox and Nicola Peltz Beckham. Gigi and Bella Hadid also briefly sported barely-there brows for the Versace Fall 2022 runway show during Milan Fashion Week.
Despite sticking to dark hair in her everyday life, Hudgens is quite the shapeshifter, especially around Halloween. Among her many costumes this year, she used facial prosthetics to transform herself into a ghastly witch. Hudgens also painted himself blue dress up as Miss Argentina, the receptionist in Beetlejuice. With her latest look, Hudgens proves she can deliver a good Gaga costume next year.
