Megan Fox showed off a fully grown Barbiecore last weekend while channeling an iconic Pamela Anderson look. On Sunday, December 4th, the actress was spotted supporting her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly in the crowd at the Audacy Beach Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For the event, she chose an all-pink look with a fluffy feather hat, a silent nod to the one Anderson rocked at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. designed by Ivy Supersonic two decades ago.
Fox, 36, wore high-waisted pink cargo pants and a neon knit bralette with a flared underbust. Despite her addition of pink patent heels with pointed toes, the showstopper was clearly her tribute hat. Almost 25 years ago, Anderson wore a corset and sequined pants on the VMAs red carpet, and crowned her look with the similar design above.
This isn’t the first time Fox has opted for a furry topper — a distinctive late ’90s and early ’90s trend echoed by the likes Hailey Bieber, rihannaand Bella Hadid recently. Fox was spotted rocking her own cranberry red iteration with silver jewelry, a black fishnet corset and nylon sweatpants in October.
Barbiecore is also known to Fox, who dressed up for the summer in a pink lamé outfit that even matched her long pink hair.
Though Fox hasn’t said outwardly that Anderson inspired her latest Florida look, it stands to reason that she dressed up as a “Baywatch” star for Halloween in October.
