Jordyn Woods has officially ditched her brunette waves for an icy blonde look straight off our winter beauty boards. On December 12, Woods showed off a set of Targaryen blonde braids on the red carpet at the premiere of “Avatar: The Way of Water” in Hollywood. The style created by MiMi G.that wrap around either side of her head before falling over the shoulders of her glow-in-the-dark gown and intertwining with her waist-length waves. “Such a beautiful night at the Avatar premiere,” Woods commented on photos of her outfit on Instagram on Tuesday.
“OK guys, but once for that eyeshadow!”
On the face of the model makeup artist Kevin Luong continued the frozen theme with thick lashes and aqua eyeshadow that faded into a pale white shimmer. Given that the second “Avatar” film takes place underwater, it’s likely that Wood’s beautifully executed eye shadow was also meant to mimic foaming waves on the beach. “OK guys, but once for that eyeshadow!” Woods said on her Instagram Stories Monday night. “It’s getting so hard to get that shit off though.” She also paired the look with a marbled white and silver manicure accented with rhinestones and pearls.
Woods debuted her blonde hair for the first time in a carousel of Instagram photos shared on December 10. “Frozen,” she captioned the pictures of her platinum blonde hair peeking out from under a faux fur winter hat. Woods also shared photos of her new bleached hairdo against a snowy backdrop in the middle of the forest, a fitting start for the chilliest season. Other celebrities who have been rocking the blonde hair trend in recent months include Kim Kardashian, Lily James, Aubrey Plaza, Ariana Grande and more.
After the premiere, Woods revealed that her ice-blonde look was temporary. “I think the blonde will go,” she said. “Is blonde my color, y’all? Let me know.” On Dec. 13, Woods updated her Instagram Stories with videos of herself rocking her original brown waves.
While her blonde era was short-lived, Wood’s look is always changing and we can’t wait to see what she surprises us with next. Anticipate her bleached hair.
