The actress, who wasn’t part of her family’s singing group but nevertheless rose to become her own country music star in the ’70s and ’80s, has eight children in total: Stefan, jessica, Rachel, Michael, brandon, brianna, matthewand abigail. She is married to Steve Craig, to whom she was previously married from 1982 to 1985. And later, in 2011, the two remarried. Stephen Blosil
Stephen is Marie’s eldest son, born Stephen James Craig on April 20, 1983. Marie welcomed Stephen with her first husband, Steve, a Brigham Young University basketball player, after the two married in 1982. The two eventually divorced in 1985, and Marie married a music producer Brian Blosil shortly thereafter. Brian eventually officially adopted Stephen.
Stephen shares three children of his own with his wife Claire, which grandmother Marie likes to post on her social media! Stephen briefly followed in his mother’s footsteps in show business when he appeared in the 1989 film It was almost not Christmas next to his uncle Wayne Osmond. The 39-year-old also released an album titled in 2003 That’s what you get.
Jessica Marie Blosil
Jessica is the first child of Marie and her now ex-husband Brian, who was adopted nearly two years after her birth (December 17, 1987). Unlike her mother, Jessica prefers to stay out of the spotlight and works as a police officer and counselor in Provo, Utah.
In 2009, Jessica came out as bisexual and married her longtime friend. Sara, ten years later. Marie has been a long-time supporter of her daughter and celebrated their union on July 7, 2019 with a sweet photo Instagram. “Happy birthday to my beloved daughter Jessica and her new wife Sara!” she exclaimed. “I’m so glad I was allowed to fly in for the day to be separated from such a happy occasion! Rachel Lauren Blosil
Rachel was Marie and Brian’s first biological child, born on August 19, 1989. Though Marie revealed that she and Rachel are “very similar in many ways,” per Weekly closer, Rachel ultimately didn’t follow in her mother’s footsteps as a singer, instead choosing to become a costume designer and hairstylist. Rachel married her husband, Gabriel Kruegerin a small ceremony in Park City, Utah in 2013 and they share two children together, Rocket Jade and wolf.
Michael Blossil
Michael was Marie and Brian’s next adopted child, born May 4, 1991. Sadly, he died of suicide in 2010 when Marie revealed that her son had been bullied on a large scale due to his sobriety. The grieving mother posted a sweet tribute to her late son on his birthday in 2017, sharing that he was born on his grandmother’s birthday. “I love you my angel!” She labeled those bittersweet post.
Brandon Warren Blosil
Marie and Brian adopted Brian when he was a baby and his birthday is said to be in November 1996. Although Brandon followed in his mother’s footsteps some by going into the music business, his band, Navarre, isn’t exactly Osmond Family style. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, the group describes themselves as “metalcore” and have an edgier rock sound.
Brianna Patricia Blosil
Another adopted child, Brianna was born on November 19, 1997 and currently works as a makeup artist. Brianna is married David Schwepp and the couple shares two children together, Maude Bailey-Moon Schwep and Mabel Amarantha Rayne Schwep. Brianna faced some challenges with Maude, her first, who was rushed to pediatric intensive care when she was born in 2019, per PERSONS. Luckily, the newborn came through and Brianna gave birth to Mabel on August 9th, 2020. Grandmother Marie shared touching Instagram post Upon arrival, she found that the newborn was a “reminder” that life was about having joy.
Matthew Richard Blosil
Matthew is Marie’s second biological child with Brian and was born on July 6, 1999. Like his mother, Matthew is very musical, having previously toured the country as a saxophonist in his high school band and performed at Carnegie Hall and the Macy’s Day Parade. Matthew is the youngest son of the “Meet Me In Montana” singer, who celebrated his 22nd birthday in 2021. “Happy Birthday to you!!! you are 22! I love you so much!!!!”, Marie enthused in one Instagram post.
Abigail Olive May Blosil
The youngest in Marie’s crew is Abigail, who was born on September 5, 2002. Unlike her older siblings, Abigail is still enjoying her younger years and recently finished her senior year of high school in 2021. While she may not have as many responsibilities as her still brothers and sisters, 2007 saw Abigail face some tensions within of the family when Marie and Brian decided to go their separate ways.
As previously mentioned, Marie married her first husband, Steve, who, according to the “Paper Roses” singer, fills the role of stepdad pretty well. “I know I will never find anyone I love or respect more than Steve. I’m so happy and looking forward to sharing my life with Stephen who is a great man and a great father to my children,” she previously said Weekly closer.
