Ashley Graham may be a model by trade, but the star is known for pulling off swooning beauty moments. Case in point: the minimal baby French manicure she recently sported on a red carpet.
On December 5, Graham attended the Fashion Awards in London in a chic look. Her nails were short and filed into a rounded oval shape. Instead of going for the warm, translucent pink traditionally used as the base for French designs, Graham opted for a slightly cooler shade, similar to that used for milk bath nails. As is customary with a baby French, Graham added a thin smile line at each fingertip for a subtle but elegant touch.
This is just one of a seemingly countless number of variations on the French manicure that have sprung up since the trend returned. Other celebrity fans of the look include Ana de Armas, Lori Harvey and Bella Hadid, so if you want to try it out you’re in very good company. The nail art is particularly suitable for shorter lengths.
