Say goodbye to Patrick Dempsey’s short but glorious silver fox era. On December 13, the actor decided to cut his recently platinum blonde hair with the help of his professional hairstylist. Jillian Dempsey.
Dempsey, who now has a buzz cut, recently caused a stir after dying his hair silver blonde while filming the movie Ferrari, in which he plays racing driver Piero Taruffi. “Being super cropped and having a bright haircut is a first for Patrick,” says Jillian of the actor’s new look. “He has a fearless nature and allows me to do almost anything with his hair.”
Contract obligations aside, blonde hair transformations have had a serious moment in Hollywood. Ariana Grande went Glinda blonde while preparing to play the character in the Wicked movie, Eiza González was spotted with the color in March while attending the screening of her movie Ambulance, and even Gigi Hadid played with fun during fashion month.
