After the Sussexes dropped their rousing documentary series on Netflix last Thursday, royal pundits have been giving the couple non-stop nods. Little do they know, the documentary also contains many revelations about Meghan Markle’s parents. Most notably her estranged father, Thomas Markle.

Meghan Markle sheds light on the entire controversy surrounding her father in her bombastic documentaries. She spoke about how tabloids grabbed her Thomas Markle in the headlines, accusing him of staging paparazzi photos for money. In the first three episodes of the six-part documentary series, Meghan revealed how she did her best to reach out to her father.
Thomas Markle breaks the silence, accuses Meghan Markle
Just days before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding, a heated controversy erupted in the kingdom over their father. Accused of staging images, the tabloids had Thomas Markle everywhere. Markle addressed this, revealing how hard he was trying to reach out to his dad. According to the couple, even Prince Harry made several attempts to contact his father-in-law. However, everything was in vain.

They did get replies to their String text messages, but they most certainly weren’t from Markle’s father. Both reflected on how they had noticed dramatic changes in their textual mannerisms. After no further replies, Harry and Meghan were certain his phone had been compromised. Still, Thomas Markle, who has been unavailable since their wedding, has made some comments about it, insiders say.

Sources from the Daily Mail state that Thomas Markle himself has denied such claims as in the Netflix hit. He has reportedly confirmed that all messages were from his side. Whatever the Sussex couple said in their documentary series was his opinion “untrue. I wrote every word I sent from this phone, which I still own.‘ the Duchess’ father told the tabloid.

He further added that he “wasn’t bad”, Instead, he was in the hospital after suffering two heart attacks. He added that they (Harry and Meghan) didn’t even ask how he was. After placing numerous stents, Thomas confirmed that he “didn’t deserve this news.” Meghan Markle and the rest of her family have yet to reconcile with their estranged father. Her mother, Doria Ragland, had reportedly questioned the way Markle’s father had disrupted her upbringing.
