Ashley Graham went on a date with husband Justin Ervin on December 8 in nothing but black underwear layered under a completely see-through maxi dress. On Thursday, the pair attended the Time Person of the Year reception in New York City in coordinated black ensembles. Graham opted for a hooded mesh dress from Interior brand’s Fall Winter 2022 evening collection, while Ervin looked stunning in a turtleneck worn under a velvet single-breasted blazer and black trousers.
“Uh-huh-Honey🖤celebrate @time PERSON OF THE YEAR!!!” Graham captioned photos of her ensemble Instagram. The model styled her look with jewelry by De Beers and Roger Vivier, including a set of diamond earrings and a teardrop necklace.
Hooded gowns have been taking the red carpet spotlight of late, with celebrities like Janelle Monáe, Bella Hadid, Lori Harvey and more rocking the dramatic silhouette in a range of patterns and styles. Graham’s see-through look was woven from black fabric and embellished with silver sequins and glitter, creating the illusion of a starry night covering her head. The fabric draped in a sweeping train that wrapped around her peep-toe sandals. From under her hood, Graham faced the camera with a smoky eye shadow from a makeup artist Kale Teter and face-framing tendrils of hair by hairstylists Anthony Perez and jessica willis.
Earlier this week, Graham stunned in a nude Syndical Chamber illusion dress at the British Fashion Awards afterparty. She paired what appeared to be a painted dress with silver heeled sandals, a white faux fur coat, hoop earrings and a glittery metallic clutch.
