Those who watched the new season probably realized very quickly that some of the key players from season one, like Max (Jon-Michael Ecker) and Travis (Brandon Jay McLaren), were absent from the show’s final season. Here’s what we know about Max’s absence.
Why isn’t Max in Firefly Lane Season 2 Part 1?
Max and Tully ended up breaking up Firefly Lane Season 1. After Tully’s miscarriage, she struggled to let Max get to her, and the emotional pressure put too much strain on their relationship to survive. Max suggested having their marriage annulled. But Tully wasn’t ready to give up on Max just yet.
She asked him to meet her at the pavilion where they were married if he was open to starting over. Unfortunately, Max doesn’t show up, suggesting he’s not ready to try again. in the Firefly Lane Season 2, Max is only briefly mentioned once at the beginning of the season.
Tully confirms that her and Max have their marriage annulled. It appears the writers are willing to move away from the Max/Tully storyline, which may be disappointing to those who have championed the couple.
Who plays Max and what is the actor doing now?
Jon-Michael Ecker played Max in the first season. before Firefly LaneMax was best known for playing Guero Queen of the South. Since Firefly Lane Season 1 has begun, Max has repeated Chicago fireand he starred in the Hallmark Christmas movie gingerbread miracle.
He has a few upcoming projects planned, including a new freeform drama series called The watchful eye. Considering he’s one of the main characters on this show, scheduling conflicts might have prevented him from going back there Firefly Lane. That means it’s possible we could still see Max again Firefly Lane Season 2 Part 2, although it seems unlikely.
