Our mouths have been drooling since Netflix released the new baking contest series baking crew. The show is filled with so many delicious looking pastry dishes that we want to become pastry chefs just like these seasoned competitors so we too could have a chance to have our cakes praised by the talented Christina Tosi.
One season just isn’t enough for new fans of the baking show, and we also agree that there definitely needs to be a second or third season renewal soon. How many seasons of Bake Squad are there?
There is currently only one season of baking crew available to watch on Netflix. The pilot season has eight episodes in total, with each episode lasting less than 40 minutes.
Will there be a Bake Squad Season 2?
Yes! On December 13th, Netflix finally and officially announced that the baking contest series would be happening be back for a second season. baking crew Season 2 has been a long time coming for fans who have been waiting for news about the fate of the show for over a year.
While we were a bit worried about the radio silence, we knew that culinary shows like this resonated relatively well on the platform. Made! is currently in its seventh season and other Netflix baking and cooking series have also released multiple seasons.
How many episodes does Bake Squad Season 2 have?
Similar to the freshman season, the upcoming new season will also have eight more episodes for fans to devour. Deadline notes that each episode will be approximately 35 minutes long. Christina Tosi will host again, and episodes will feature Ashley Holt, Christophe Rull, Maya-Camlle Broussard and Gonzo Jimenez as competitors.
Bake Squad season 2 release date
Along with the announcement of the renewal of Season 2, Netflix also announced that Season 2 of Bake Squad will be released on Friday, January 20, 2023. Luckily, fans won’t have to wait much longer for the return of the popular baking competition series.
