Wednesday Season 1 debuted on Netflix on November 23, 2022 to critical and popular acclaim. The streaming service has not yet announced whether the hit series will be renewed for a second season. However, the showrunners of the new coming-of-age series have commented on a possible second season and teased their storytelling plans Wednesday Universe should go on. When speaking to TV lineCo-showrunners Miles Millar and Al Gough revealed they were planning to do so Wednesday Storylines up to “Four Seasons”.

“We felt like we just scratched the surface with these characters and the actors in these roles are so amazing,” Millar said. He also acknowledged that the show’s focus on Wednesday Addams and her journey “forging her own path outside of the family is important,” but that the writers’ room would “definitely” be interested in seeing more of the Addams’ dynamic in future seasons – show family.
