The whole family likes it hot. Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick were present at the opening on Sunday (December 11). Some like it hot on Broadway, but they weren’t alone. SJP, 57, and Matthew, 60, made it a rare family outing by bringing their children: their eldest son, James Broderickand her twin girls, tabitha and Marion Broderik. And like their famous parents, they dressed for the occasion.
Matthew, 20, wore a smart suit with a tie that featured a festive check pattern. Tabitha, 13, opted for a chocolate colored dress that matched her brunette tresses with a silver coat. Marion, 13, went red for the evening by dressing in a ruby red dress with a red and gold coat. Her parents also dressed up for a night out on Broadway Ferris turns blue Star wore a navy blue plaid suit while SJP went for a sparkly blue dress (with accenting beads). And just like that… Star dressed in a chic white coat to ward off the cold NYC temperatures.
While SJP and Matthew have done their best to protect their kids from the pressures of stardom (and give them a childhood away from the paparazzi cameras), the Broderick kids have joined their parents for some high-profile events in 2022. Marion and Tabitha attended the New York premiere of Hocus pocus 2the sequel to the 1993 Halloween classic.
SJP and Matthew’s eldest recently turned 20 and James’ mum marked the occasion with a sweet post on Instagram. “Oct. 28, 2022 ‘It was 20 years ago today…’” she captioned the gallery that showed James through the year. “The plates have shifted. All the feelings I’d ever known, deeper, amplified and in brilliant new colors. Today the kaleidoscope is spinning with all the memories. In all the glorious forms, changes and perspectives you have brought into our lives.”
Earlier this year, Sarah mourned the loss of her stepfather, Paul Griffin Foreste. The 76-year-old died of an “unexpected and rapid illness” on September 28 while standing next to his “respected wife”. barbara of 54 years.” Shortly after the loss of her stepfather, SJP posted a throwback photo of him. “Thank God,” she wrote. “Strong as a bull. Until the end. You will always be missed at home and among all those who loved you dearly. “We will take good care of mommy you adored for 54 years.”
