Afida Turner45, spoke about her late husband, Ronny Turnerand his death, in a touching new Instagram Post. Although his cause of death has not yet been officially announced, the doting spouse hinted that cancer could be the cause of his death in the caption of a post included in it several photos of Ronnie with his family, including his parents, Ike and Tina Turnerand friends.
“RONNIE TURNER WITH HER FATHER IKE TURNER: RONNIE WAS AN AMAZING MUSICIAN AND BASKET PLAYER AMAZING SOUL A HUGE HEART TRUE ANGEL HIGH SPIRITUAL ONE OF A KIND RONNIE GOT F*CK CANCER ILL IN 3 WEEKS ♋️ 😡🙏🙏🙏🙏💔💔,” it read caption.
After she released the heartbreaking statement, her followers were quick to respond with well wishes and support in the comments section. “Praying for you and your family,” one follower wrote, while another wrote that they were “sending love.” A third shared “My sincere condolences” and many more left heart emojis to show their love.
This is the second tribute post Afida has posted since Ronnie’s death. Your first included too various photos and another bittersweet caption. “MY GOD RONNIE TURNER AN ANGEL HIUGE SOUL HIGHLY SPIRITUAL MY HUSBAND MY BEST FRIEND MY BABY I WAS ID YOUR MUMMY YOUR NURSE YOUR LITTLE MONSTER ❤️🙏💔🎩,” she wrote. “I DID THE BEST TO THE END THIS TIME I COULDN’T SAVE YOU, LOVE YOU FOR THESE 17 YEARS. THIS IS VERY VERY VERY BAD. I AM VERY ANGRY REST IN PARADISE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️😭😭💔💔 SO UNFAIR!”
Afida’s tribute post comes just two days after Ronnie passed away at the age of 62. TMZ first reported the sad news, revealing that medics were called to the musician’s home in San Fernando Valley, California, after an 911 call was made saying he had trouble breathing before he stopped breathing. Although bystanders reportedly attempted CPR, Ronnie was pronounced dead at the scene and an inquest is ongoing.
As soon as the news broke, Ronnie’s mother, Tina, 83, was quick to issue a statement about the tragedy Instagram. “Ronnie, you left the world way too soon. In sorrow I close my eyes and think of you my beloved son,” she wrote alongside a Black and white closeup of yourself with your eyes closed.
