Rihanna tops Beyoncé and Taylor Swift in list of ‘Most Powerful Women’ – Hollywood Life +2023

rihanna is many things. She is an internationally acclaimed singer with more platinum certifications than one can count. She’s a beauty mogul and a fashion queen who sits at the helm of a billion dollar empire. She’s about to headline the Super Bowl halftime show. She is a proud mother who takes care of her and ASAP Rockys child. Now she is according to one of the most powerful women in the world forbes Magazine. The publication released its list for the “100 Most Powerful Women Alive” on Wednesday (December 7), and Rihanna, 34, landed at number 73, behind Laura Chathe first female chair of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and before Mett Frederiksenthe Prime Minister of Denmark.

In addition, Rihanna is more powerful than her pop stars, beyonce and Taylor Swift. Taylor, 32, and Beyoncé, 41, are listed at No. 79 and No. 80, respectively. They’re stuck in between jenny lee“one of the most respected VC investors in China”, and Güler Sabanci, the first woman to head Sabanci Holding, one of Turkey’s largest international conglomerates.

How did forbes come up with these rankings? “The list was driven by four key metrics: money, media, impact, and spheres of influence,” the publication reads. “For political leaders, we weighed gross domestic product and population; for company directors, revenue and employee numbers; and media mentions and reach from all. The result is a collection of women fighting against the status quo.”

While Rihanna was considered “more powerful” than Taylor, it was Swift who was listed in the highlights section. “Taylor Swift broke records this year and Ticketmaster’s website,” he wrote forbes. “Following the release of her 10th studio album in October [Midnights], she became the first female artist in history to occupy the top ten spots on the Billboard Hot 100 song chart. And in November, demand for tickets to their 2023 Eras Tour overwhelmed Ticketmaster, prompting members of Congress to question the company’s control over concert sales.”

Taylor was spotted next to it Thasunda Brown Duckettthe President and CEO of TIAA and one of only two black female CEOs to “run one of America’s 500 Largest Companies”; Falguni Nayar, India’s richest self-made woman; and Xiomara Castrothe first female President of Honduras. Ursula von der Leyenthe President of the European Commission (the executive branch of the European Union), is listed as #1.

A few other familiar faces made the list. Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris is in 3rd place, MacKenzie Scott (Investor and ex-wife of jeff bezos) is in 11th place, Oprah Winfrey is No. 24, Reese Witherspoon is No. 86, Shonda Rhimes is No. 93, and Dolly Parton almost finished the list at number 96.
