Offset says he’s in a ‘dark place’ after Takeoff’s tragic death: Tweet – Hollywood Life +2023

Migos rapper offset (b. Kiari Kendrell Cephus), 30, took to his Twitter account to vent his dark emotions just over a month after his cousin. Take offtragic death. “In a dark place,” says the “Walk It Talk It” singer wrote on December 8th. Additionally, Offset included a middle finger emoji along with the tweet.

Many of Offset’s 4.4million followers took to the comments section to offer their condolences and support, although he didn’t specify what he was referring to. “I am praying for you and the family. Losing someone so close to you can turn your whole world upside down. Just know that he is your guardian angel now. He’s always with you,” one fan wrote. While another admirer also wrote some kind words for the grieving artist. “I’m sorry you’re going through this. you have a beautiful wife [Cardi B] and children to help you get through this difficult time. Try to use the happy memories you have to get through. He was a lovely man. Help his legacy shine. Sending love to you and your family from England,” the supporter commented.

On the weekend of December 3, the 30-year-old also mourned his deceased cousin via Twitter. “I miss you BH, trying to get over the pain,” he said wrote, along with a fan photo of Takeoff. And before that, on November 25, the father-of-five tweeted a video Takeoff dancing and singing. “THE REAL [goat emoji]… ROCKET MAN,” Offset wrote. The Georgia native once again took his grief online on November 21, with a throwback photo of the late Migos member. “I love you so much,” he tweetedalong with a rocket ship emoji.

The plethora of tributes for Takeoff comes just over a month after the young rap icon was shot dead on November 1. The 28-year-old was shot and killed outside of 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas TMZ. At the time of his death, Takeoff was with his Migos colleague and cousin, Quavo31. Takeoff’s attorney, Drew foundlingHe confirmed the news of his death in a statement HollywoodLife. “Along with my company, I am saddened by the tragic death of Kirshnik Ball, known to his fans as Takeoff,” he said. “Takeoff was not only a brilliant musical artist with unlimited talent, but also a uniquely kind and gentle soul. He will be greatly missed now and always.”

A month after Takeoff’s sudden death Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, was arrested and charged with murder. A 22-year-old man is also named Cameron Joshua was also charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon on the same day. Houston Police Chief Troy Finner confirmed the news during a December 2 press conference. “We lost a good man,” Finner said during the conference. “I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him. Each of the hundreds of people I speak to spoke about what a great person he was. I want to thank the family and everyone else for their patience and for allowing us to process the evidence and facts.”

A sergeant later revealed the details of the events leading up to the deadly shooting on the night of November 1st. “The event was a private party. There was a lucrative craps game taking place at the event. After that, an argument broke out in front of the bowling alley, which led to the shooting,” he said. The police officer also clarified that the late musician was “not involved in the dispute” and an “innocent bystander.”
