Jonathan Majors strips naked for his next film role. Before fans meet his boxing character Damian in Creed III, the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor will star in an upcoming drama in which he plays an amateur bodybuilder. In Magazine Dreams, directed by Elijah Bynum, Majors’ character struggles to “find a human connection while his unrelenting need for approval drives him to the abyss.”
Magazine Dreams debuts at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival alongside other feature films such as Cat Person, starring Nicholas Braun, Theater Camp, starring Dear Evan Hansen alumni Ben Platt and Noah Galvin, and Ayo Edebiri from The Bear”. and Randall Park’s directorial debut, Shortcomings.
Not much is known about “Magazine Dreams” aside from its A-list star hosting the film, however colliders previously reported that the film’s Bynum-written screenplay appeared on the 2020 Blacklist – which recognizes the “most popular” screenplays that have not yet been produced.

An official release date for the upcoming film is unknown, but it will have its world premiere during the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, which begins on January 19.
