Khloe Kardashian says her outfit is ‘broken’ at the People’s Choice Awards +2023

Oops! Khloe Kardashian suffered a wardrobe malfunction and a minor hair defect during the 2022 People’s Choice Awards on Tuesday December 6th.

The TV personality, 38, and her mother, Chris Jenner, appeared at the ceremony in Santa Monica, California to accept Hulu’s Reality Show of 2022 award The Kardashians. Khloé also took home the honor of being the reality TV star of 2022 for her role on the hit series.

While Khloé was “grateful” for the win, she revealed that she was dealing with a faulty “zipper” on her Jean Paul Gaultier jumpsuit on stage. The all-black number featured a deconstructed blazer at the bodice and off-the-shoulder sleeves.

“Guys we just won People’s Choice and I’m so grateful but ok my outfit broke!” said the Good American founder in a video shared to her Instagram Story after the event. “My outfit – the whole zipper has come undone.”

As viewers recall, Jenner initially received the awards solo as Khloé was MIA. That revenge body Alum explained her brief absence was due to being in the bathroom. “I’m sewn into my outfit. I had to pee so we had to cut out the stitches and sew me back in,” she said on her Instagram story.

Khloé continued to address her tresses. “My hair — here, right here — is a disaster,” she said of her voluminous combo. “But that’s okay. Champagne problems! I’m so damn happy I won People’s Choice for the fifth year in a row and stuff The Kardashians also won!”

In a follow-up video, Khloé showed what her bouncy mane should look like. “Guys, my hair is looking really good now. I’ll tell you. I don’t know what happened on stage. My hair was messy and then my mom was called on stage so I had to run over and save her and I looked like a freak… but you know what, I’m so thankful I won. I love you.”

The Strong Looks Better Naked author previously expressed her excitement about the award in October.

“I can’t believe I’m nominated again for Reality Star of 2022 at the People’s Choice Awards!” she tweeted. “You really have no idea how much this means to me. This nomination and award always means the most because the winners are chosen by you!”

Season 2 of The Kardashians saw Khloé walking on Tristan Thompson after it was revealed the 31-year-old NBA star fathered a child with a fitness model Maralee Nichols. The businesswoman also revealed that she and her ex are expecting their second child together via surrogate. Us weekly confirmed the former couple – who also share 4-year-old daughter True – welcomed a son in July.
