Just seven months after their marriage in a gorgeous California ceremony, The bachelor‘s JoJo Fletcher32, told OK! magazine about her plans to start a family. “I’ve loved our life together before as an engaged couple, but there’s this excitement now to be talking about starting a family together in the near future that’s really special,” JoJo told the outlet about her future with her husband . Jordan Rodgers, 34. “Nothing big has changed in our day-to-day lives, but I would say there’s this feeling once you’re married that just feels a little bit different. It’s hard to explain but there’s a deeper sense of connection,” added the TV personality.
While speaking to the outlet, JoJo also spoke about her wedding, which has been postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “After having to postpone it in 2020 and then again in 2021 due to the pandemic, we were so happy to finally be able to celebrate and get married this past May. It really was the best weekend of our lives,” she enthused. JoJo and former The Bachelorette The contestant wed May 14 at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California.
The real estate developer said later OK! about how finding a way to spend quality time with her husband has become difficult. “This time of year is always crazy – with Jordan in full football and traveling to my place every week to work on all my projects, we really had to make sure that we prioritized our alone time on purpose.” said the brunette beauty. Additionally, the newlywed gave readers the inside details on what she and Jordan will do when they finally start spending time together.
“Thankfully we’re always together when we’re in the same place, but having those non-stop mini date nights together is super important and something we look forward to,” she shared. “Whether it’s something small like an evening stroll together or cooking our favorite meal at home, making sure we’re both fully present is a great way to reconnect after a hectic work week.” And hectic is an understatement given that the couple has been inundated with a home makeover that JoJo shared above Instagram on 5th December.
“We just started moving in furniture! (A little hasty but that’s ok) Almost 2 years of the most challenging renovation journey I’ve ever been on, but when I start putting rooms together it keeps reminding me why I love this so much,” she captioned the video her home in Puerto Rico. “(This room used to be the outdoor patio) All of you – the before and after of this one is going to be crazy. Standing by while I’m through, just wanted to sneakily show what we’re working with. More deco to come, we’re just getting started andddd [sic].” Jordan and his wife met in 2016 when he was a contestant during her season of the hit show. The Bachelorette.
