DL Hughley never missed an opportunity to mock Kanye West. The 59-year-old comedian previously took Ye to task for harassing Kim Kardashian on social media. However, that made Hughley just one of the many people who did. West and Kardashian had a fairly public and rough divorce.
The duo married in 2014 and Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021. While trying to win his wife back, Ye also often dragged her into social media rants. After months of non-cooperation, the duo finally came to an agreement, but Ye is now being mocked by the comedian with his own song.
How did DL Hughley mock Kanye West?
West usually uses songs to get his message across, but who would have thought his own song would be used to mock him? Stand-up comedian DL Hughley stepped in Instagram to say, “When (your) life imitates (your) art… YIKES. If your not a punk holla, ‘We want a prenup’, ‘We want a prenup!’ yeah it’s something you must have because if she leaves you she’s half gone….” He then went on to provide details of the divorce settlement between former power couple West and Kardashian. According to the agreement, they will split the children’s expenses equally, while Ye also pays $200,000 a month to support the four children. School, extra activities and security will be separate.
Any additional property will also be divided according to the marriage contract. Considering the situation, it’s very similar to Yes’s Gold Digger song. If, despite the agreement, a problem arises, the couple will seek mediation. If no solution is found, an involved party makes the final decision.

It’s likely Hughley won’t be the only one attacking West. The singer has already caused a lot of feuds with his controversial statements. Now the artist is also contesting the presidential election after losing in 2020.
