Call all your friends because Prime Video’s “Harlem” is officially returning for Season 2 next year! The streamer announced the December 7 premiere date for season two and teased first-look photos of the fabulous four – Camille (Meagan Good), Quinn (Grace Byers), Angie (Shoniqua Shandai), Tye (Jerrie Johnson) – about what a tropical vacation looks like. Could the show be headed to a new location?
“Harlem” was arguably one of the best TV shows to come out in 2021. Between the all-star cast, the feel-good soundtrack, and the real-world bond between the actors, there’s so much to love, and now I’ll swoon for another exciting season of the series.
On February 17, Prime Video announced the show was official renewed for the second season. Given its huge success, there was no question that the show would be back on our screens in no time. Shortly after its winter premiere, the new series garnered two NAACP Image Award nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Direction in a Comedy Series. As viewers love the show, so does the cast, and they already have their own predictions for season two.
Johnson previously told POPSUGAR that when the show returns for its second episode, they want Tye to “try to get romantically and consistently involved with one or more people.” And if the show decides to somehow incorporate the COVID-19 pandemic into its storyline, Johnson is curious to see what Tye would do during quarantine since she wouldn’t be able to go to the office. We also spoke to Sullivan Jones (Jameson), Robert Ri’chard (Shawn) and Juani Feliz (Isabella) about their expectations for Season 2.
