“We’ve known each other forever, and we had to go these separate ways and we’ve done other beautiful things and we had these amazing kids,” Lopez said of her rekindled romance with Affleck in a November interview with Zane Lowe. “Once we became whole enough and complete enough and loved ourselves enough to truly stand on our own two feet as the universe wanted, we were brought back into each other’s lives. And there was a rift in the clouds and so Song came through and it was like, ‘Boom, that’s it.’ And we were both very sure.”
