Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s most-anticipated Netflix documentaries are just days away from their premiere. The six-part series entitled Harry & Megan should be one of them most controversial TV projects as it will talk at length about the British royal family. With the launch of the documentary, the stakes are high for the Duke and Duchess. including royal titles for their children Archie and Lilibet.

Before the mega release, however, the Sussexes were hit with a massive blow. Archewell’s chairman Mandana Dayani has tendered her resignation to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The company has confirmed that Dayani is no longer associated with the Sussex Royals charitable foundation and the media outlet.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle jointly run Archewell
Mandana Dayani joined Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first Chief Operating Officer Archewell in September last year. Regarded as the right-hand woman of the Sussexes, the Iranian-born activist was crucial to the company because of their connections to the US media. However, it is believed that this is the case no bad blood between Dayani and the Duke and Duchess. The resignation was mutual The royal couple have now decided to run the company together.
After helping shape his vision and future, a Sussex representative confirms Archewell President Mandana Dayani is moving on. Harry and Meghan are now taking full control of their company (which consists of Archewell Audio, Archewell Productions and the Archewell Foundation).

According to Archewell’s official statement, there will be no substitute for the Iranian-born. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were on paternity leave last year, so they needed someone like Mandana Dayani to oversee their company. The statement from the couple’s press secretary, Ashley Hansen, read: “Dayani has been an integral part of Archewell and we are grateful for her passion, dedication and leadership. Their transition was planned together, with the intention that the Duke and Duchess would now assume full leadership of their company.”
Interestingly, a total of 13 senior officials, including Mandana Dayani, have resigned since Archwell was founded. Earlier this year Toya Holness made headlines by resigning as Archwell’s press secretary. In addition, the managing director of the company is Catherine St-Laurent retired less than a year after her appointment.
