Quentin Oliver Lee passed away at the age of 34. The Broadway star died after a battle with colon cancer, his grieving wife Angie Lee Graham shared via social media. “Quentin died in the early hours of the morning. It was the most beautiful moment of my life. I saw his last breaths, held his hand and felt his heartbeat slow down,” she wrote in a deeply emotional post of him with her daughter Samantha Oliver. “He had a smile on his face and was surrounded by those he loves. It was peaceful and perfect,” she also said.

“He was an incredible man, husband, father, son, brother, friend, singer, actor, and disciple of Christ with great faith in his heavenly Father. To say “he will be greatly missed” does not reflect the scope of the people and communities he created and touched,” she wrote in the deeply emotional tribute.

“If we let him, he made us better people. Samantha and I are supported and nurtured by our families and our own faith. Please understand if I don’t reply, but trust that your messages and love have been read and felt,” she captioned.

He announced his cancer on a Go Fund Me page

Quentin announced he was battling stage 4 colon cancer go fund me Page in June 2022. “Hi, I’m Quentin, I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer,” he wrote on the page, along with a photo of himself and his daughter Samantha. “I am a father, husband, teacher, performer on Broadway and the Metropolitan Opera and will soon survive cancer,” he wrote.

“It’s definitely difficult to make money from performing while you’re going through chemotherapy, surgery and dealing with these messy symptoms of cancer that can drag on for who knows how long,” he explained. “You have all shown your love and support in so many ways. Know that every donation helps us pay medical bills, keep the lights on, keep food on the table, and help Angie and I focus on fighting this disease rather than worrying about how to fight ours meet needs,” he shared.

He attended college

Quentin graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance in 2012.

He is best known for an off-Broadway role

While appearing in many productions, his Off-Broadway performance was in Heide Christian‘s Oratory for Living Beings is perhaps his most iconic role.

He has been in many other Broadway shows

His other credits include the 2021 revival Caroline or change2017 Prince of Broadway. He also played the title role in Phantom of the operain addition to appearing in I’m Harvey Milk at Avery Fisher Hall and carmen at New York Lyric Opera.

Quentin was also a member of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and the Shrine of the Ages Choir, Cardinal Key Honor Society while a student at NAU. He also held a teaching position at the Flagstaff School of Music.
