The girls from Firefly Lane are back, and the season two drama premiere is just around the corner! But the two BFFs have problems ahead, and some challenges they must overcome in order to (hopefully!) mend their friendship Firefly Lane Season 2 part 1.
By the time season one ended, we still hadn’t figured out why Tully and Kate stopped speaking. Based on the Season 2 synopsis, it seems we’re finally getting to know why the duo’s 30-year friendship ended.
There will be many storylines and time periods to keep up with this time! The show takes us back to the 70’s when our two leading women were in their teens. Younger Kate and Tully will face each other apart from high school as Tully is forced to live with her grandmother after her mother Cloud was sent to prison for drug dealing, Netflix says.
The 80’s will see Kate and Johnny’s love story unfold as we see them fall in love for the first time on the newsroom as Tully’s career soars in the workplace. Then, in the present, Kate must deal with the aftermath of Johnny’s trip to Iraq, while Tully is being sued for leaving her talk show, according to Netflix. The former host will also be looking for her father, whom she never met.
There’s certainly a lot to come this season, and for now we’re only getting about the first half of the episodes! So when do you need to set your alarm?
