Just moments after she posted a photo to celebrate her 33rd birthday, Taylor Swift‘s fans think they’ve figured out which album she’s re-recording right now. Taylor shared a photo with her social media on the evening of December 13 to show her fans that she was dating her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff work on music. She sat on the recording studio floor with a cello on her lap and held up three fingers on each hand. Most of her outfit is hidden, but she appeared to be wearing a white t-shirt with cats printed on it and black jeans. Jack sat in a chair next to her with a guitar on his lap.

“Thank you for all the lovely wishes today!!” she captioned the post. Of course, I spent my 33rd birthday in the studio… Wouldn’t have it any other way. Loving You!”

While to some the photo may seem like an innocent celebration of her birthday, Swifties believe the “Cardigan” hitmaker left several clues to reveal that she’s recording her sixth studio album. Call, which was released in 2017. The first and most obvious clue comes through her hands. While the three fingers she has raised on each hand certainly represent her age, Fans also seem to think it stands for the number sixwhich would show on album #6, Call. Well, that’s a useful coincidence.

Also, some fans believe her fingers may represent March 3, 2023, which would be a release date for an album. Some fans think so Now speaking: Taylor’s version possibly a work in progress and could possibly be released on that date. It wasn’t until last month that fans were won over Speak Now was just re-recorded, which is why some are split over which album is represented in the cryptic snapshot.

Another clue that suggests this Call is the $1 bill lying on the top keyboard in the background of the image. Taylor won $1 in her 2017 personal injury and battery lawsuit against a radio DJ who groped her during a pre-concert meet-and-greet in June 2013. She then featured a single dollar in her music video “Look What You Made Me Do” (a Call single) as seen below next to her right shoulder. Fans believe the dollar symbolized the process. Now the fans believe the single dollar bill lying on the top keyboard in the studio is another clue Call is on the way.

It would make sense that Taylor started working for Reputation: Taylor’s version lately. As already mentioned, Call was released five years ago, and after Rolling Stone, many contracts require artists to wait five years before re-recording an album. This means Taylor would have been ready to start Reputation: Taylor’s version on Nov 11

Rumor has it that Taylor could be releasing an album every month in the run-up to her much-anticipated Eras tour, so it’s no surprise that she’s in the studio on her birthday. Regardless, the groundbreaking Superstar will continue to keep her loyal fans on their toes.
