Betty Who31, has been added to the many cast members who will appear on stage in the upcoming special. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Evewhich is hosted by Ryan Seacrest on December 31, 2022. The singer has made a name for herself with her busy and successful music career over the past few years, so it’s no surprise that she will be attending the annual, alongside other popular artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Dove Cameron and more televised event. The show is slated to take place in multiple cities including Los Angeles, California and New Orleans, LA, and Betty will be performing at a party in the former.

Betty first broke onto the music scene with her song, “Somebody Loves You” and all eyes were suddenly on her. She went on to release her debut EP, The movement, the following year and signed to RCA Records. Her debut full-length studio album, take me with you when you gowas then released in 2014. As of December 2022, she has released three more studio albums and four more EPs.

She is originally from Australia.

Betty was born in Sydney, Australia and lived there until she was a teenager. She then moved to the United States in 2007 to attend the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan. Her music career took off after she started writing songs at the age of 14 and performing at the age of 16. She also attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

Her real name isn’t Betty Who.

Betty was born with the birth name Jessica Anne Newham. She took her stage name from a song she wrote at the age of 16 about unrequited love.

Betty was also involved in television work.

She hosted the reality dating show, The one that got awayand hunted ghosts with Singer Kesha in Summon Kesha.

She is married.

Betty has described herself as a “queer, bisexual woman” and was secretly married to a photographer Zak Kassaris the son of the director and producer Jon Kassar. Although the wedding was private and secret, the couple announced their engagement in 2017 and are now keeping their marriage as private as possible. However, in December 2022, Betty gave her husband a shout-out Instagram for his birthday.

“Congratulations to the man behind the camera. we are all so obsessed with you! Everyone tells him how hot he is for his birthday, he will love it. Love you husband 😍🏎️🔥📸🛩️,” she wrote alongside cute photos of them look happier than ever.
