We will have The crown Season 6. After an initial thought that it wasn’t going to happen, Peter Morgan decided it was necessary after all. And Netflix agreed. Now let’s check out all the updates we have about the sixth and final season.
When is The Crown Season 6 coming to Netflix?
Netflix hasn’t yet confirmed when Season 6 will be out, but we reckon it will likely happen in November 2023. This would be in line with releases from previous seasons.
The last thing we learned was that The crown had found his William and Kate. This would suggest we’re getting later into the ’00s to bring us Williams’ time at St Andrews University, where he met Kate Middleton. Rufus Kampa will play a 15-year-old William who is dealing with the death of his mother, and Ed McVey will play an older William, according to St Andrews diversity. Meg Bellamy will play Kate Middleton.
Season 6 covers Diana’s death. As early as October, the series was preparing to film the events. During filming in November, Elizabeth Debicki was spotted in an animal print swimsuit to match the one Diana wore on vacation with Dodi Fayed shortly before her death. We’ll also see events from the early ’00s, including the deaths of Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother.
