Selena Gomez continued her colorful streak, following a recent Enid-inspired hair makeover with a barbiecore pink fit.
The superstar made a surprise appearance at Saturday night live on Saturday 10 December. After I briefly joined her Only murders in the building co-stars on the show, she was later spotted at the SNL after-party.
Following the ongoing barbiecore trend, Selena wore a pink look by Valentino. Her fit consisted of an oversized sweater embellished with sequins and worn off the shoulder. The jumper had some ruffle details at the end and underneath she wore pink tights and matching shoes.

Barbiecore devotees may remember that Gigi Hadid once wore a similar fit. In an April appearance, Gigi also chose an oversized pink top with the same pink Valentino shoes. While the supermodel wore her blonde hair down, Selena opted for an updo and appeared to have pulled back some of her dark hair.
Selena went to the after-party with minimal accessories, opting to wear just a pair of gold hoops. She’d also gone back to her usual hair color and dropped a rainbow wig, which gave us a serious look from Enid Wednesday vibrations.
This month also saw another colorful moment from Selena. She was photographed sporting a Skittle manicure for the December Star. For the look, Selena’s longtime nail artist, Tom Bachikpainted each of Selena’s nails a different pastel shade.
Selena isn’t the only celebrity embracing the barbiecore pink trend. 2022 was filled with bright and bold fits in different shades. Gigi wore the look multiple times, while Khloe Kardashian made headlines with her pink latex dress. Several celebs, including Florence Pugh and Anne Hathway, also attended a Valentino runway show in July, wearing different iterations of the Valentino-approved colorway.
