Amanda Bynes has a brand new hairstyle! The 36-year-old actress was spotted sporting a shorter haircut during a coffee break during one of her beauty classes on Monday, November 28. Amanda kept a low profile and wore sunglasses as she headed to the cafe, but her new hair looked fabulous. While she kept the same dark shade of black she’s sported in the past, the new style was closer to a bob than her longer look.

Aside from the new hair, Amanda rocked an all-black look with a t-shirt, leggings and flats. She was carrying a translucent blue handbag, and in some photos she could be seen rolling out a pair of large boxes, presumably with her cosmetics inside. The transformation was seemingly new, as she was spotted at cosmetology school in October in a similar outfit, with longer hair tied back in a ponytail.

In addition to the hair makeover, Amanda announced that she would be making a career change in October Instagram Story. She gave some behind-the-scenes insights into the school, revealing that she “went to cosmetology college to be a manicurist.” That she is the man Star seemed very excited to begin this new chapter in her life.

Aside from a new career path, it’s been quite an eventful year for the Nickelodeon alum. Amanda was released in March from a conservatory where she had worked for nine years. Upon her release after nearly a decade, the hairspray Star made a rare public comment, thanking fans for their support in a statement persons. “Following today’s judge’s decision to end my conservatorship, I want to thank my fans for their love and well wishes during this time.
