The plastic surgeon’s comment came after Vito told him, “After the past few weeks, I’m officially single.” After Lenny’s mic picked up his only comment, his friend also asked him if he and Lisa had had any problems. “I just heard there are issues, but nothing concrete,” Vito said, to which Lenny replied, “Yeah, it’s always been the same stuff.” The 56-year-old then explained a bit what he meant by that. “You know, ‘I’ll do whatever I want, whenever I want, and you stay at home and you go to work and you come back,'” he said of his estranged wife’s mentality.
His pal also asked him if they “discussed” the breakup a lot, to which Lenny replied, “All the time.” Vito later told the doctor that he “didn’t” want him and Lisa to go through a breakup, but Lenny did felt different. “I do,” he revealed. The court documents obtained by the outlet also showed that Lenny felt that “the marriage is irretrievably broken and there is no hope of a meaningful reconciliation at this time.” The documents also state that both Lenny and Lisa agreed to “dissolve their marriage at least a month ago.” And before the official filing, Lenny said page six that he had this plan in place.
“Lisa and I are getting a divorce,” he told the outlet via a phone call. “A few weeks ago I denied this because I’m trying my best to protect my family during this process. This is a very difficult time and I am asking for some privacy so we can best take care of our children who mean the world to us.” During the interview, Lenny also revealed that he is dating a model Catherine Mazepa, but claimed the romance only began after the decision to break up with Lisa. “None of this happened until the decision was made to divorce,” Lenny added. The blonde beauty and Lenny married in 2009 and have two children together: a son logan6, and daughter ell2.
