The historical drama series stranger is one of the most popular non-Netflix Originals streamed on the service. Netflix was streaming stranger international for most of the show’s runtime, but it takes a long time for new seasons to migrate from Starz to Netflix in the US. Fans are still waiting stranger Season 6 coming to Netflix and hoping that happens before then stranger Season 7 premieres.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any great news for fans of the show. stranger Season 6 is probably a long way from coming to Netflix in the US. It typically takes two full years for a season to start streaming on the service, and stranger Season 6 aired its finale on May 1, 2022, which means it probably won’t come to Netflix US until 2024, certainly not until the end of 2022.
But the Outlander franchise is still going strong. In addition to the upcoming seventh season, Starz has ordered an Outlander prequel series called Outlander: Blood of My Blood, which will focus on Jamie Fraser’s parents. No release date has yet been announced for the prequel.
When will Outlander Season 6 be on Netflix US?
It takes two years for Netflix to stream new seasons stranger in the United States, don’t expect to see anything stranger Season 6 on the platform no earlier than May 2024. At this point, it’s much easier to just sign up for a Starz subscription if you want to catch up on the Claire and Jamie saga.
Outlander Season 7 release date on Starz
Even if new episodes of stranger won’t be coming to Netflix US for a while, fans have stranger Season 7 to look forward to in the near future. Starz has yet to announce the official air date for the 16-episode seventh season, but we do know that filming began in the first half of 2022, so the cable channel is likely targeting an early 2023 release date. That means Season 7 probably won’t come to Netflix until 2025.
