It’s been a year since we learned it Outer Banks Season 3 would definitely happen. Are we any closer to the season drop on Netflix?
Can you believe it’s been a year since Netflix confirmed the Pogues will definitely be back? It was certainly a long wait for renewal, and it was an even longer wait for the season to arrive. We’re still waiting for that release, but are we any closer to it?
Production ended in August 2022. The series is now in post-production, and here’s what we know about the series so far.
When is Outer Banks Season 3 coming to Netflix?
Netflix has not yet confirmed the exact release date Outer Banks Season 3.
What we do know is that it will arrive sometime in 2023. This could be early 2023. Many shows like this take six to eight months to go through the post-production process. That could point to a February 2023 release date. We would like a touch of summer in the dark winter time in the northern hemisphere.
Corresponding Digital SpyThere are plans to bring more than three seasons of the series. The plan calls for four or five seasons to tell the story, but Netflix needs to renew the show for that to happen. The best way to ensure this is to watch the season as it falls.
One thing we’re hoping for in season three is a father-son reunion. The big cliffhanger at the end of season two was that John B’s father was alive after all. Now that John B is on the deserted island where his father once landed, we wait for the two to find each other.
