Nick Cannon joins the joke about his personal baby boom this holiday season. On Nov. 29, the soon-to-be father-of-12 shared a hilarious YouTube video, sponsored by Baby Daddy Financial, about his stressful Christmas shopping plans this year (and his contribution to the world’s population).
“And based on the baby-mom-to-kid ratio, we have quite a lot of gifts to buy.”
“It’s almost the holidays, and thanks to me, the world now has eight billion people. But my work isn’t done yet,” Cannon says jokingly, before getting ready to do some online Christmas shopping. “And based on the baby-mom-to-kid ratio, we have quite a lot of gifts to buy.”
In the tongue-in-cheek video, Cannon says his “adorable and happy offspring” gave him a list asking for everything from the entire Los Angeles Lakers basketball team and 12 PlayStation 5s to a dolphin. “It’s going to be a merry Christmas,” jokes the comedian. “I didn’t get any of that stuff as a kid! Do you know what my daddy bought me? A stick!
At the end of the clip, an exhausted Cannon almost faints on his laptop before jumping up and asking what his kids want to buy him for Christmas. “I don’t want socks anymore, don’t give me ties and definitely don’t do anything to myself. What should I do with it? he asks, holding up handmade “dad” paintings and drawings. “I only framed it because I love you!”
Cannon ends the video by saying, “I’m quitting. Kiss my ass Christmas,” before ending on a more cheerful note. “Happy Holidays from my extended family to yours.”
The holiday season seems to be a busy time in the Cannon household. The Masked Singer host is a father of 11 children – twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom he shares with Mariah Carey; daughter Powerful and sons Golden and Rise, whom he shares with model Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, whom he shares with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary, whom he shares with model Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx, who he shares with model and photographer LaNisha Cole – with another child traveling with model Alyssa Scott. Cannon and Scott also had a son named Zen, who died of a brain tumor in December 2021.
