Michelle Obama reacts to Barack being called ‘okay’ +2023

The world may cackle about it viral clip of former President Barack Obama, who was described as “fine as a motherfucker” at a recent rally in Detroit, but for his wife, Michelle, this is just another day in the Obama household. On December 12, the former First Lady made her final press stop on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to promote her new book, The Light We Carry, and surprisingly, it was only then that she saw the viral clip, which is still making the rounds online.

“I can’t believe you didn’t see it because we have everyone saw it,” Kimmel told Michelle. But it turns out she didn’t need to see the viral video — she heard about it first. “He came home, that was the first thing he said. I said, ‘How did it go?’ He said, ‘Somebody said I’m fine,'” Michelle recalled, laughing. “I said, ‘Oh, really? That’s so cute.’” Well, does Michelle share stories like this with her husband? “Oh, no,” she said to Kimmel, frowning and shaking her head. “He doesn’t need to know everything about my affairs,” she joked.

These days, viral videos are a highlight for the Obamas, as Michelle says the two have “a lot of boring times” together after staying at the White House, which she says they “love.” “After eight years in the White House, you’re dying to have it — we’re celebrating the dull times,” Michelle joked to Kimmel. “We look at each other and say, ‘What are you doing? Nothing.’ We say yes!'”
