Lizzo feels love. in one Appearance on December 13th on The Howard Stern Show Speaking about boyfriend Myke Wright, the “Special” singer told Stern: “Don’t waste your time honey. I’m very much in love with Myke.” She went on to clarify just how serious their relationship is, adding, “There’s no one else I’m going to be with for the rest of my life.”
She also told Stern a little about the early days of her relationship with Wright, a stand-up comedian and actor. “In the past we were friends. I’ve been very busy, and I was still very much in my ‘I don’t feel loveable’ place, and I still wasn’t where I wanted to be professionally,” she said. “Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve been “I always put my career before any relationship, any person. Even if a person showed up that I gaga over, I had these rampant defenses that made it almost impossible to have a true intimate relationship. It was all very.” superficially with anyone.”

Everyone I’m close with knew me before all of this happened and I think that’s important. Even the man I’m dating knew me before all of this, too. We were friends. It was different than they knew you before 2019.
Lizzo and Wright were first linked in January, before the “About Damn Time” singer confirmed they were dating during an April 18 appearance on SiriusXM “Andy Cohen lives.” When Cohen asked her if dating was difficult because of her star status, the singer got candid about her dating life. “If you have the right person, no, not at all, it doesn’t even matter,” she said. “It should support each other no matter what the person is doing.”
In the Breakfast Club interview, Lizzo also shared that love saved her life — just not in the way you’d expect. “I think ‘saving your life’ doesn’t always mean you were about to die and someone saved you,” she said. “‘Saving your life’ can also mean that your life went in a direction, and now it’s going in that direction, which is a much better, healthier, safer and happier place because of love.” She went on to talk about it what her life was like before she let more love in.

“I think I was walking towards a really lonely, anxious place in my life, especially after I got into celebrity and everything and felt isolated from my friends and family because I was like, ‘Damn, I’m a burden.’ .” She explained. “I didn’t let anyone in, and I didn’t let anyone help me, and I learned that love is there,” she said.
