Lily Collins made a style statement at the premiere of “Emily in Paris” on December 6th. To celebrate the release of Season 3 in Paris, the lead actor experimented with a more sultry look than usual, wearing a draped cutout gown by Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. Made from a tan stretch jersey fabric, the long-sleeved dress featured large cut-outs across the stomach and ruffled detailing on the dress.
She worked with stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn on the ensemble, accessorized with ultra-high black platforms and stacked Cartier bracelets worn over her sleeves. She also selected yellow gold diamond earrings and a ring from the jeweler to wear with her rose cut engagement ring. Dark chocolate brown nails; freshly cut bangs; and a slight smoky eye completed the actor’s look.
The Emily in Paris star was recently spotted in feminine, classic French girl styles, but she opted for a little more edge for her big premiere. Saint Laurent’s dress is reminiscent of Hailey Bieber’s showstopper number at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty in March: a beige jersey-cut ruched gown with necklines held together by a large rosette.
With a penchant for quirky, lively pieces, Collins’ screen persona certainly enjoys a more maximalist wardrobe than the actor, though Emily Cooper pulls it off with ease. On the series, she’s often seen mixing and matching statement items like patterned bucket hats, bold prints and fingerless gloves.
