“Born This Way” hitmaker Lady Gaga36, accepted tick tock on December 8th to participate in the viral Wednesday trend that includes her 2011 song “Bloody Mary.” “BLOODY WEDNESDAY,” the pop icon captioned the black-and-white video of her reenacting the dance. In the clip, Gaga can be seen doing her best goth makeup and donning an outfit that’s a version of Wednesday Addams from the hit Netflix show.

With the Haus Labs founder’s makeup fixed and her knee socks on, the real fun began. Gaga then started breaking out Jenna Ortega‘s Dance from the show, along with the Grammy winner’s lyrics. “I will dance, dance, danceWith my hands, hands, hands, over my head, head, head like Jesus said,” sings Gaga’s song.
Since Gaga shared the iconic video, many fans of the show and Little Monsters alike took to the comments section to rave about the clip. “If I was Jenna Ortega I would lose it now,” one fan wrote, while another chipped in, “GAGA HAS THAT THING.” A third admirer noted that the Oscar-winning actor shared a song written over a decade ago was published, was once again a success. “I love you Gaga!!! you get all the credit you deserve all along,” they wrote.
The “Bad Romance” singer’s video was also posted just a week after Wednesday Addams Twitter wrote about the trend. “I see you doing my dance moves to @LadyGaga’s Bloody Mary. I hear little monsters are chasing her. I agree,” the account wrote. And even Mother Monster herself answered to the tweet! “Dead Wednesday! You’re always welcome at the House of Gaga (and bring Thing, we love paws around here),” he said A star Is Born actress wrote. Following this amazing pop culture crossover, the official Netflix Twitter account added Gaga’s tweet to his official account bio. “Kill Wednesday!” – LADY GAGA [skull emoji]’ it says at the time of this writing.
Of course, Netflix is also a little monster, as they reposted the video on her official account just an hour after Gaga shared it. “Mother Monster has arrived in Nevermore,” the account reads. However, as mentioned, the trend has gone viral and other celebrities have joined. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rina59, even joined the trend via tiktokalong with their daughters amelia21 and Delilah Hamlin, 24. Jenna also took to Twitter on November 25 to thank her for the inspiration that helped her create the dance. “Thanks to Siouxsie-Sioux, Bob Fosse‘s ‘Rich Man’s Frug’, Lisa Loring, Lena Lovich, Dennis Lavant, and archival footage of goths dancing in clubs in the 80’s. Helped me with that,” she said tweeted.
