Keke Palmer’s Saturday Night Live debut made history. The 29-year-old actress has had a big year starring in Hollywood blockbusters like ‘Nope’ and ‘Lightyear’ – and now she’s added the ‘SNL’ host to her list of achievements. Oh, and she also announced that she’s expecting her first child!
Palmer’s first host of the famous sketch show was full of unforgettable moments. Alongside announcing her pregnancy, she also sang about finding a “big boy” for cuff season, played a perplexed clerk at a Hello Kitty store, and joked that Drake started her life with his “Kiki Do You Love Me?” Song. For the record, she’s “that Keke,” but she’s not “that Kiki.” Throw in a Kenan & Kel reunion sketch, and it’s safe to say the Nope star’s SNL hosting gig was a hit.
In a recent interview with CNN, Palmer shared how excited she is to host SNL for the first time. “I know it’s going to be so much fun,” she told the outlet. “I’m really excited and just looking forward to doing it. I think it will be a unique experience but also familiar territory. And then it’ll just be fun to see them do it, you know, on their side of it. Because I love skits.”
