Kate Hudson isn’t just an acclaimed actress — she’s also a true entrepreneur. She founded the sportswear brand Fabletics and the wellness brand In flower. Like acting, her passion for fitness and wellness began with her family. “I grew up like that watching my parents care and honor each other to be strong and healthy and make up for it… I think it rubbed off on all of us except Oliver [Hudson]. Oliver’s still working on it,” she jokes. “I just like feeling healthy. I like feeling strong.”
Hudson wants to use her platform to encourage others to take responsibility for their health and find out what makes them feel their best. “The way we eat, how we exercise, and how we take supplements will support our mental stability,” she explains. Her mission at Fabletics and InBloom is to make wellness less intimidating. “Make it fun, and hopefully people will start making lifestyle changes in ways that don’t feel so hard on them.”
As the holidays approach, a great way to prioritize self-care and reduce stress is to accelerate yourself. Hudson recommends avoiding looking for last-minute gifts so you can be thoughtful and enjoy the process. “Sentimentality is very important to me, so when all else fails, get personal,” she explains. “Really think about the people you’re shopping for and get them what they need and what they would love,” she advises. Like the rest of us, she loves to save money and take advantage of special offers and cash back opportunities like Rakuten. Hudson has teamed up with Rakuten this holiday season and created a gift guide with all of their wellness gift tips.
Her favorite vacation movie is the long-awaited Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, in which she stars alongside Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline and Dave Bautista. “I can’t tell you anything. But what I can tell you is that you’re going to have a great time!” She explains. And filming the sequel to Knives Out was just as exciting. “It was so much fun. We all loved each other so much and had such a great time,” she says.
In addition to sharing her passion for health and wellness and her enthusiasm for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Hudson also shared some of her current product obsessions. From a classic pair of Christian Louboutin Kate pumps to chocolate-flavored vegan protein powder from InBloom, these are Hudson’s must-have picks.
