She went on to seemingly admit both her guilt and her innocence to her 25-year-old daughter. “I know what I did. More importantly, I know what I didn’t do,” she stated cryptically. Regardless of what she has or hasn’t done, Julie is acutely aware of her future, noting that she gets by with the mantra, “God will tear you down just so he can bless you.”

As fans know, Julie and her real estate mogul husband were sentenced to a total of 19 years in prison on Monday November 21 for tax evasion and fraud after being found guilty in June. Todd received a 12-year sentence and was convicted of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud against the United States, bank fraud, and tax fraud. Julie is jailed for seven years on charges of tax fraud, wire fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and conspiracy to commit fraud against the United States.

After their sentencing, a person close to the couple revealed themselves HollywoodLife ONLY that they were emotional. “The whole family was in shock and still is,” they revealed. “When they first learned the phrase, they were all hysterical and they all cried a lot. Nobody could believe that this was the result.”

“Todd and Julie didn’t want to see anyone but their family yesterday and they are at a loss for words at the moment,” they added. “You are heartbroken. Grayson and chloe obviously take this the worst because they all really depend on Todd and Julie. It’s such a sad day for all of you.”

Grayson Chrisley is the 16-year-old son of Julie and Todd and their only minor child. They also have custody of their granddaughter, 10-year-old Chloe Chrisley, who is their son Kyle Chrisleys daughter. Savannah announced on her podcast last week that she will be given custody of Grayson and Chloe when their parents go on duty. While discussing the situation, she said she is most concerned about how Grayson and Chloe will adjust to their new normal. “[I”m] Try to navigate how you’re teaching two younger kids who aren’t fully developed and… get them to understand the circumstances,” she explained.

Savannah and her estranged sister Lindsie Chrisley, 33, were the first of the Chrisley brood to respond to their parents’ sentencing. They both shared messages on their respective Instagram Stories, with Savannah sharing a quote with her Instagram Story of Pastor Kimberly Jones on on the day her parents were sentenced. “Noah continued to build the ark to declare himself to all who doubted and hated him. Keep building your ark. The rain will do the talking,” read the message. Lindsies Instagram story The post came the same day and showed a video clip of her friends comforting her on her bed Bruno Mars‘ ‘Count On Me’ ran across the video. “Best friends show up in the bad times with hugs and champagne,” she wrote of the clip.
