Jimmy Kimmel attacked Kanye West on yesterday’s episode of his late night show, lashing out at the rapper and designer following his shocking interview with Alex Jones. Kimmel followed up on the “disturbed” star during his monologue, slamming him for his three-hour sit-down with the “despicable” Jones.
Kimmel played a clip from West and Jones in which the rapper admits, “I see good things in Hitler, too,” Kimmel sarcastically replied, “Oh, great.”
After another clip of West saying every human being has value, “especially Hitler,” Kimmel responded incredulously, asking his audience, “Especially Hitler?”
“I think he’s wearing the wrong color hood,” he joked, referring to West’s all-black balaclava before refuting his false claims on InfoWars that Hitler invented both the Autobahn and the microphone. The late-night host said West might be the first to think Hitler was behind the mic, but theorized he could be thinking of the “old myth” that Nazis invented microwaves.
“The microwave isn’t a microphone,” Kimmel reminded us, before adding, “But I’ve never seen anything like it. We have a black and white racist walking around.”
Kimmel wondered what would happen if another superstar peddled West’s rhetoric and decided to use Ariana Grande as an example. He told his audience the singer would be fired from a cannon and thrown into the ocean if she said the same things as West.
“Kanye seems to be getting crazier every day, and he still has fans, and you know an interview is off the rails when you look at it and you’re like, ‘Man, I hope Alex Jones can reason with this guy bring,'” Kimmel said.
Kimmel played another clip of West’s interview, in which he expressed his support for Georgia Senate nominee Herschel Walker, and took a stab at his education, telling the audience West “shouldn’t have dropped out of college.” .
“Herschel Walker should now send Kanye a thank you note for diverting our attention from him,” Kimmel quipped.
