Glamor UK celebrates Selflove Month and features women with disabilities on the cover
Using a wheelchair or crutch on a fashion magazine cover. Why not? The British glamor magazine thought so too and is dedicating its current January self-love issue to people who don’t meet the typical model criteria. The goal: inclusion in the fashion business and more body positivity for everyone. Instead of self-optimization in the form of sports routines or New Year’s resolutions, the focus is on self-acceptance issues. A woman with a disability is therefore depicted on each of the three covers of the Digital UK Issue.
The cover stars include Ellie Darby-Prangnell, magazine editor with spinal muscular atrophy, designer Caprice Kawai, who has osteoarthritis, and Shelby Lynch, with second-degree spinal muscular atrophy. A strong signal not only for people with disabilities.

Golden Globes 2023: This is how you wear the trend color of the stars
From lilac to deep purple, there was no escaping one color on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. A striking number of celebrity women opted for dresses in shades of purple. There was everything from a delicate lilac to a strong violet that looked almost black.
We are certain: This will set the first fashion and beauty trend in 2023. No wonder, after all, the color is so versatile that it not only suits every skin type, but can also be used flexibly in different seasons. While spring and summer are likely to be more pastel-delicate à la Kaley Cuoco, we are looking forward to deep, heavy purple shades à la Selena Gomez next autumn and winter.
For those who don’t dare to wear purple pieces, the beauty variant could be exciting. Because purple can also be used as eyeshadow or lipstick.

Which styling mistake you can easily avoid when wearing a hat!
There is no accessory that is as popular with us in winter as the hat. The cozy knitted piece not only looks casual, it conceals, for example, greasy hair or bad hair days when there was not enough time in the morning. Hallelujah! Styled hairstyles can also be shown to their best advantage with hats – but there’s one thing we’ve always done wrong!
Curls have been trending for years; Whether it’s beach waves or mermaid hair, the curling iron is one of the most popular tools. The golden rule here is twist the curls away from the face for a natural look. However, this is not the case with hats! As TikTok star Matt now shows, curls that are turned out look a lot more unnatural than curls that are turned in. These snuggle up much more gently to the hat and face.

Make-up artist of the stars reveals: The top model complexion is that easy
With clients like Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner, Mary Philips is one of the most sought-after make-up artists in the world. Not surprising: The It-Girls are currently more in demand than ever and everything has to be perfect during their performances – including the make-up! To create a perfect yet natural look, Mary uses a very special method that is now being celebrated by thousands of users on Instagram and TikTok.
As Mary Philips explains in her video, she changes the classic flow of the makeup routine. Unlike the regular process, where first with the foundation, then with concealer and finally with blush and bronzer is worked, she reverses the order. Mary starts by contouring the face to mimic the desired bone structure and finishes with just a little bit of makeup to finish the look. This creates a natural look that saves product at the same time. How convenient!

L’Oréal Brow Magic: A hand printer now conjures up perfect eyebrows
At war with eyebrow styling? The hairs just don’t want to look like twins and seem more like distant relatives? That could soon change with the launch of L’Oréal at CES 2023. When it comes to high-tech beauty, they are not only on the trail of the perfect eyebrow, but also way ahead of it. The L’Oréal Brow Magic, an electronic hand make-up applicator, prints the brow directly onto the hairs.
With 2,400 tiny nozzles, the new tool conjures up eyebrows in no time at all. As a user, you have the choice between different shapes, volumes and effects, which can be selected via the associated app. With a little swing, the look can then be conjured up independently over the brows. The device is expected to be on the market in 2023. However, it is not yet certain when that will finally happen.
