Ginny & Georgia has a diverse ensemble cast, and we have good news: there are plenty of cast members returning for Season 2. As confirmed by on-set photos shared on Instagram, series directors Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey are definitely reprising their roles as Ginny and Georgia, respectively. Diesel La Torraca, who plays Ginny’s little brother Austin, is also making a return!
So far it has been confirmed that most of the cast will be returning for Season 2: Felix Mallard (Marcus Baker), Sara Waisglass (Max), Jennifer Robertson (mother of Ellen, Marcus and Max), Mason Temple (Hunter Chen), Scott Porter ( Mayor Paul Randolph and Georgia’s future fiancé) and Raymond Ablack (Joe).
Also returning are Nathan Mitchell, who plays Zion, Georgia’s ex and Ginny’s biological father, and Humberly González, who portrays Sophie, Max’s love interest. We definitely have more flashbacks to come from teenage Georgia, as Nikki Roumel, who plays the younger version of the main character, also confirmed her return on Instagram.
There is one new cast member to add to the list and this is it Aaron Ashmore. Aaron is best known for his work on Kleinville and Netflix lock & key. Per meeting, he will play Gil Timmins, Georgia’s ex-boyfriend and Austin’s biological father. “When Georgia met Gil, she was drawn to his intoxicating charm and good looks.” meeting reports. “Gil was gone from Georgia’s life after being charged with embezzlement and sent to prison.” Gil is absolutely shaking things up in Wellsbury and we love to see it.

The first season of Ginny & Georgia ended on a massive cliffhanger, which seriously complicates season 2’s plot. Just in case you don’t remember — which is fair, Season 1 debuted in early 2021 — Ginny was seen running away from home in the final episode with her little brother Austin, mind you, on Marcus’ motorcycle. That was after Ginny’s friends group found out that Marcus and Ginny had met behind Hunter’s back after Marcus and Max had their own sibling explosion and to Georgia seemingly got away with actual murder.
