Steal the show! While George ClooneyIt was hard to take my eyes off his beautiful wife, 61, who was the guest of honor during the 45th Annual Kennedy Center Honors on Saturday, December 4th Amal Clooney44. The human rights lawyer, 44, looked like a dream with crystal decorations Valentino during the Washington DC affair to “honor artists who left an indelible mark on America’s cultural landscape”.
Amal conjured up old Hollywood glamor in her sparkling gown, which consisted of a pearly white sheath covered in crystals and sequins. The floor-length dress flattered her slim figure, while a slim sleeve draped flirtatiously off her shoulder.
In keeping with the sparkling theme, she wore a glittery silver clutch, a chunky cuff bracelet and diamond earrings. She even wore pointy chrome heels. Amal’s hair was styled into loose curls of chocolate brown and she smiled behind crimson lips.
While Amal was the center of attention, George was still elegant as ever. He rocked a classic tuxedo, along with the rainbow collar presented to Kennedy Center honorees.
George was also honored at the gala Gladys Knight, Tanya Leon, Goodand Amy Grant. The President hosted the soiree Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden. The Ocean’s 11 actor’s dear friends Julia Roberts and Matt Damon participated, along with Ariana DeBose, Sacha Baron Cohenand island fisherman.
Though George’s iconic status is undeniable, President Biden joked about who the real star is while introducing the actor-director and his honorees. Corresponding news week, the President told the audience, “This year’s Kennedy Center honorees are an incredible group of people. And we, the people, we see characters. We see Amal Clooney’s husband.”
The Kennedy Center Honors were first held in 1978. This year’s event will be televised above CBS on December 22nd.
