She was the style standout star of 2022, and Florence Pugh’s slew of red carpet showstoppers continues to wow us. The actress attended the 25th British Independent Film Awards in London on December 4 wearing a pink slip underneath a voluminous pink ruffled cape that she struggled to fit in the car she was transporting to the event.
Rodarte’s pale pink dress featured a thigh-high slit trimmed with lace and a silk organza rose at the neckline. A dramatic ruffled tulle cape took the ensemble to a new level, along with gold Aquazzura heels that tied around the ankle, pink teardrop earrings and a matching Tiffany & Co. necklace. The “Don’t Worry Darling” star was styled by Rebecca Corbin Murraywho continues to nail red carpet briefs.
you title Video Instagramming with “Boudoir Baby 💖” it was clear that the look resembled a negligee thanks to the silk satin, floral lace and bias cut. The video also hilariously showed Pugh taking an entire lift wearing the extra-long cape, trying to fit the outfit into the aforementioned vehicle.
Pugh’s hair styled by Peter LuxShe was slicked back and flicked out at the ends while Alex Babski opted for classic black eyeliner and peachy tones on the cheeks and lips. Emily Rose Completed the look with burgundy nails.
Pugh has been rocking the nude dress lately after appearing in a number of see-through looks including a Victoria Beckham number at the Governors Awards and a Valentino see-through gown at the London Film Festival. While this latest look might not have been as see-through, Pugh certainly drew attention on the red carpet as her long cape trailed behind her.
