First things first: No, Tully Hart is not dying Firefly Lane Season 2 Part 1. Although it turns out she was in a serious car accident with Marah as her passenger, neither of them dies from their injuries.
in the Firefly Lane’In season one, fans worried about Tully when she became pregnant with her first child with then-husband Max. She believed the symptoms were an early menopause at 43, but she was actually pregnant. Unfortunately, Tully loses the pregnancy.
In season two, Tully’s post-annulment takes place in 2004 as a time of personal and professional rebuilding. Trying to get her career back on track amid a major lawsuit, she finds success on the internet. However, her professional life takes another dip when she is arrested for DWI after the car accident involving Marah.
Kate stops speaking to Tully for allowing Marah to leave the house, leading to the night’s events leading up to the car accident. Although Tully was not to blame for the car accident, Kate still blames her for endangering her daughter, Tully’s goddaughter.
It’s a gray area for best friends, but the breakup prompts Tully to rebuild her personal life, which includes remodeling her childhood home on Firefly Lane. At the end of the season, Kate is diagnosed with stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer. As the former besties float by like ships in the night, they seem primed for a reconciliation during an emotional second part of the season.
