Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are there proud parents of Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten Windsor. Meghan Markle shared a heartbreaking story
Not many know that before they were blessed with Lilibet, Meghan Markle suffered a miscarriage. The Duchess spoke about the devastating loss in her pillar for the New York Times in November 2020. In the article, the former US actress detailed the heartbreaking moment and how she and her husband handled the situation.

Markle mentioned that she was changing Archie’s diapers one day in Los Angeles when she suddenly felt pain. The Duchess fell to the ground while holding her son close to her heart. “I felt the wetness of his palm and kissed his knuckles, wet from both of our tears. My eyes glazed over as I stared at the cold white walls. I tried to imagine how we would heal.” She had written 2020.
Megan Markle also spoke about the pain of losing her baby in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. She revealed how difficult it was for her to lose both her baby and her father. Notably, Meghan Markle hasn’t been in touch with her father, Thomas Markle, for years as her marriage to Prince Harry created a wedge between them.
